The future is looking up for us MerDer fans. There has been a location change for season 5 of Grey’s Anatomy that may reveal a squeal-worthy detail about what’s ahead for Meredith and Derek. The set for Seatle Grace has moved to a new soundstage in LA and they have built something rather exciting at the old soundstage. The McMansion! The original Grey’s soundstage has been turned into a lovely home that will be occupied by one Dr. Derek Shepherd and, you guessed it, Meredith Grey.Shonda is excited by it as well, “I’m really actually excited about [Meredith and Derek] being together because I feel like what I wanted you to leave with last season is Meredith standing in that field, having done this incredible thing, and the look on her face is a little bit like, ‘Oh my God, now I actually have to do this.‘” |

Ellen Pompeo and Justin Chambers of Grey’s Anatomy are stepping out to show their own support for the presidential candidate. The good news for both Obama and Grey’s Anatomy fans is that you’re also invited. The Gay and Lesbian Leadership Council of the Democratic National Committee cordially invites you to a night of cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and political chatter with Ellen Pompeo and Justin Chambers. Proceeds go toward benefiting the Obama Victory Fund. The event will be held in Seattle, Washington on August 16th. |
